Description

LTFN has an experience of 25 years in Thin films Technology, Fabrication of nanostructured materials & nanoparticles, developing/deploying in-situ & real-time monitoring techniques, modeling and Nanometrology. LTFN has established the Center of Organic and Printed Electronics for research and manufacturing of Organic Electronics (OE) devices for Energy, Lighting, Electronics, Nanobiomedicine, etc. Its research activities include:
– Organic & Printed Electronics: Materials & Processes, OPVs, OTFTs, OLEDs, Biosensors, Transparent electrodes & Barrier layers
– Thin Films,Nanomaterials & NanoEngineering: Thin Films, Nanoparticles, Device Microfabrication with Vacuum and Printing, Systems Design and Process monitoring Nanopatterning by Ultra-fast Laser, Ion-beam and Plasma processes, Surface characterization, Nanomechanical response,Surface activation and functionalization
– Optical Technology & Nanometrology: In-line optical monitoring of Printing & Vacuum Processes, Nanometrology applications and Non-destructive characterization, Ellipsometry,Raman, Photoluminescence
– Nanomedicine & Nanobiotechnology: Biocompatible nanomaterials, Drug delivery nanosystems, Nanoparticles synthesis, Scaffolds, Bio-Functionalization, Haemocompatibility & Cytocompatibility tests
– Computational & Modeling: First Principles Modeling of Devices and Processes, Study of electronic, optical & mechanical properties
